Welcome to Top-Down Arena. By accessing or using this website and its games (the "Site"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
1. Use of the Site
The Site is provided free of charge for personal, non-commercial entertainment. You may not copy, resell, scrape or redistribute the Site or its content, attempt to disrupt or overload it, or interfere with other players.
2. Fair play and conduct
- Do not use cheats, scripts, modified clients or exploits that give an unfair advantage or crash another player’s game.
- Choose a nickname that is not offensive, hateful or misleading, and do not include personal information in it.
- Be respectful in chat and voice. Harassment, hate speech, threats and illegal content are not allowed.
- Do not record or share other people’s voice or messages without their permission.
We may block access to the Site for behavior that harms other users or the service.
3. Multiplayer and computer-controlled opponents
Matches are peer-to-peer between players’ browsers. We do not control other players’ devices or connections and cannot guarantee that a connection will succeed. In Quick Play, a computer-controlled (AI) opponent may be used when no other player is available, and it may use an ordinary player-style display name. Private rooms do not include AI opponents.
4. Advertising
The Site displays third-party advertising, including Google AdSense. You agree not to click on ads artificially or encourage others to do so. Advertisements are provided by third parties, and we are not responsible for their content or for the products or services they promote.
5. Intellectual property
The game design, code, text, artwork and branding of the Site belong to the Site operator, except for open-source libraries used under their own licenses. You may not reproduce our content without written permission. If you believe content on the Site infringes your copyright, please follow the process in our DMCA Policy.
6. Disclaimer of warranties
The Site is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free or free of harmful components.
7. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Top-Down Arena and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising out of your use of, or inability to use, the Site.
8. Children
The Site is not intended for children under 13. If you are under the age of majority where you live, please use the Site with a parent or guardian’s permission.
9. Changes to the Site and these terms
We may change, suspend or discontinue any part of the Site at any time, and we may update these terms. Continued use of the Site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which the Site operator is established, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
